well a swap to a 305 or 350 (prefferably 350) youll have a lot more gotential lol but a swap from a v6 to a v8 can be expencive and difficult and is not for a novice (begener) if not a good way to increace horse ant torque is to port and polish your heads wich can be done at your local machin shop or a light nitrous system for a v6 mabe a 60-80 hp shot any more can be harmfull keep in mind the v6 camaros never really hit the aftermarket the v8s is where the hp is at but keep with it and yoll get there i hope ive helped and good luck

Default wow, 192 hp, from the V6?

I have an 87 camaro with the same motor. I have flowmaster and it sounds money, but it doesn't have no 192 horsepower. Its true duals too. And it comes from the factory with only 135 hp. Did you take it to a dyno? Cause that sure sounds like a big increase in power for just an exaust system.........i don't know, maybe i'm wrong......i'll catch you later.

I agree with the swap from a V-6 to a V-8, but like Z28 said its not easy for a beginner. I never really understood the whole point of a V-6 in a camaro anyway. But your best bet if you had the time and money would be to go with a 305 or 350 TPI ( Tuned Port Injection ) but that would mean complete wiring harness, computer and all that good stuff.
