HERE IS A CHEEP WAY FOR YOU 82-92 GUYS TO DIAGNOSE YOUR ENGINE..
TOOLS A PAPERCLIP ..... THATS ALL OK NOW WITH YOUR IGNITION IN THE OFF POSITION STRAIGHTEN YOUR PAPERCLIP AND PUSH ONE END IN THE A SLOT AND THE OTHER END IN THE B THEESE ARE THE DIAGNOSTICS PORTS .. BY THE WAY THE PORTS ARE LOCATED on the driver side in the kikpannel ( it will be visable) now turn your key TO THE ON POSITION (NOT START) YOUR CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WILL FLASH A CODE 12 3 TIMES THATS ALL.... NOW FOR THE CODES THE LIGHT WILL FLASH A NUMBER OF TIMES FOR THE FIRST DIget and pause the a nother number for the second digit FOR EXAMPEL THE CODE 12 WILL Be 1 FLASH A PAUSE and then TWO FLASHES YOU WILL NEED YOUR HAYNES REPAIR MANUel for the codes ter 6 section 4-5) thats all good luck

yea or you could go buy a 250 dollar scanner but nah i just stole a paperclip from school

hi, I cant find the holes to stick the paper clip in.

its the top righthand corner and the one next to it on the righthand side (look above the gaspedel) and just a paper clip and whire will do
