Does a Camaro have a relay rod?????

While gettin my state inspection done on the last minute I had to go to a regular joe's auto body place; The guy did my inspection but told me that I need a RELAY ROD.... <<< I was told that relay rod's only go on chevy trucks.... I could be incorrect can someone please inform me if I was told wrong...
