Converting to 5 speed, got questions!

I have a simple question, that I need answered. I have a 91 Camaro RS 305 TBI automatic, and my friend and I are converting it to a 5 speed. But I need to know if the 5 speed transmission will fit on the automatic driveling, or if I need to get a whole new back end to fit? Please help!
